Many Magic: The Gathering players ask: Is it worth it to buy the Magic: Origins Clash Pack, Armed and Dangerous?

Is this Clash Pack better or worse than previous Clash Packs? Is it a better buy than the other preconstructed Magic products on the market now? Better or worse for who?

Does the Clash Pack have good financial value?

Is this the proper purchase for a new and returning player who is looking to start playing at FNM?

What about for an experienced player?

What about for casual players just wanting to get fun and enjoyment?

These are the criteria we will be examining in this video, as we try and determine whether this is a product for many, for some, or for none. Let’s take a look.

If you wanted to purchase the complete contents of this Clash Pack individually, as of the filming of this video it would cost you $70.81. Since the Clash Pack has an MSRP of 29.99, that means that on an individual card by card basis, the contents are worth more than double the purchase price.

But as we’ve said in previous videos, much of these pre constructed sealed product contains bulk, commons, uncommons and rares worth less than $1.00, which in high numbers can raise the total value of a product, but may not have any true application.
