Many Magic the Gathering players ask the question: is it worth it to buy Conspiracy 2 – Take The Crown.

Conspiracy 2 is the much anticipated sequel to conspiracy, a special summer set that is not a part of the standard block, but rather a stand alone set designed with multiplayer draft in mind.

And unlike other special sets, conspiracy 2 will not have a limited print run, which means that supplies are plentiful and you can buy packs and boxes for, or possibly even below msrp.

So given all this, is it worth it to buy conspiracy 2? Let’s take a look!

Let’s start with the first, and I feel most surprising thing about this set: reprints. The original Conspiracy had very little in the way of needed reprints, and was touted as a fun-first set meant just for multiplayer drafts and not as a source of reprints.

But conspiracy 2 has gone the opposite direction, and is packed full of not just reprinted cards…but much needed reprints!
