Are you looking to play one of the top decks of a format, ramping out mana, pumping out creatures, swinging in and swinging hard all while embodying the flavor of high fantasy elven lore? Well then have I got a deck for you! Pauper Elves.
Pauper elves shares a great deal of cards and gameplay style and feel with its counterparts in Legacy and Modern, but unlike its counterparts in Legacy and Modern, it doesn’t share the high price tag. $700 for Modern elves? Ha. $2,185 for Legacy Elves? I take that same excellent gameplay experience but enjoy it with an eternal deck that only costs about 74.00, thanks. It’s pauper elves. Let’s take a look!
Elves is a fun deck and rewards proper sequencing and practice. It is mutable, somewhat, with various other Elves taking slots at different points in metagame cycles. Presented here is a solid build for the elf lover in your playgroup. Do what is surprisingly difficult to do in the world of magic the gathering: play a deck of elves.
I hope you’ll come play that deck or whichever deck you love with me at Mox Boarding House Seattle on March 24 for the Rags to Riches tournament. Mox Boarding House holds these events every month, so even if you can’t make it down to play with me on March 24, check the link in the description to see when the next Mox Boarding House Pauper rags to riches tournament is being held near you. Hope to see you in Seattle, playing pauper and making mad mana.
